Situated at Barrow Haven in the quiet North Lincolnshire countryside, the Haven Inn was built in 1730 as a Coaching Inn for travellers using the nearby ferry and has remained a place renowned for hospitality, good food and comfortable lodgings ever since. It is full of character, the bars have traditional beamed ceilings and large farmhouse tables, and a warm welcome awaits the weary traveller by the open fire in the lounge bar. Recently refurbished by its current owners, the Haven Inn also houses a wonderful restaurant and has a large comfortable conservatory area alongside the restaurant and lounge bar. There is a large car park to the front and the rear of the hotel overlooks fields and a small canal where swans and ducks can be seen. Beyond the canal and grassy fields, often inhabited by a variety of ponies, the Humber Bridge can be seen in the distance.
